South Wales NF AGM, Officials appointed

On a rainy Saturday afternoon, 18th January 2014, Members and activists met in a public house  in Swansea for the branches AGM to vote in the officials for the year. With the resignation of Claire Thomas as branch treasurer due to personal reasons and a few new positions created there was plenty of room on the committee for activists to fill any gaps.

South Wales NF would like to thank Claire for her hard work during her time as branch treasurer and wish her all the best for the future.

After a few speeches and ideas on how to move the branch forward the activists then voted on the committee positions and the out come is as follows:

Branch Organiser; Adam Lloyd
Branch Treasurer; Andy Baker
Branch Deputy Organiser; Gareth Owen
Media Manager; Steven Baker
Branch Security; Bryan Powell

The branch then agreed to create a "sub committee" giving some day to day rolls to activists to help out the committee with a east contact, west contact and a youth co-ordinator.

The activists then talked about ideas for future events before having a quiet drink and leaving in high spirits, confident in the future of the branch who will continue to work hard and promote the national front and its chairman Mr Kevin Bryan, both locally and nationally.
